Frequently Asked Questions

Cariblue Beach and Jungle Resort is located 2 kilometers from downtown Puerto Viejo. In front of Playa Cocles, we have a reception and tour desk by the roadside, plus 2 entrances: one 25 meters from the tour desk and another 75 meters away, which is the main hotel entrance.

On the way to your room, it is very likely that you will see wildlife. We have more than 2,000 square meters of jungle, so we live alongside a great variety of animals throughout the property. Among them is a unique family of sloths that regularly roams the resort. You may also see frogs on the walk to the rooms, so please be careful not to step on them. You might also spot agoutis, toucans, howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys and many more species that come through the hotel. You will always have a wild friend to admire during your stay.

The climate is tropical, warm and humid. Rain is unpredictable and often heavy. The best time to visit the area is from August to October.

The resort has a serious commitment to local wildlife. Our staff and owners love animals, but due to recommendations from the authorities and to protect the local fauna, we are unfortunately forced to prohibit domestic animals from entering the resort. This helps avoid any incident, since there are poisonous frogs on the property that could be lethal if ingested by a domestic animal. We also have many agoutis and other species that freely move around the resort.

You can book your stay through our website without speaking to anyone. Our website is available 24 hours a day and the information is updated every minute. If you have any questions, you can call us at +506 2750 0035 or reach us on WhatsApp.
