1) Do you have a room available for a certain date?

A: Please contact us to inquire about availability directly, we will be happy to help you. If you are trying to arrange a long stay, we may be able to accommodate you by switching you from one room to another during your stay, please contact us to make special arrangements for long stays or large numbers of rooms.

2) Do you have a bungalow right on the beach, how far a walk is it to the beach?

A: Our bungalows are set back from the beach in our exotic private tropical gardens for seclusion and tranquillity. We are just a few hundred feet from the beautiful white sand beach of Playa Cocles.

3) I am a student/I represent a large tour group. Do you have special rates?

A: Yes, we have special rates for groups and students; please contact us for more information.

4) What are your bungalows/rooms like, how many beds do you have, do you have hammocks?

A: Our bungalows have two double beds and a bunk bed and sleep up to 6 people. Our standard rooms are in palm-thatched duplex bungalows, with one King size bed or two queen beds and sleeping up to 4 people. Our house has two bedrooms and sleeps up to 7 people. All of our accommodations are set in our exotic private tropical gardens. All have porches with hammocks, mosquito screens, hot water, and private bathrooms.

5) Do you have a swimming pool?

A: Yes! We have a beautiful new outdoor pool, kid’s pool and Jacuzzi, located in our secluded tropical gardens, with a poolside bar.

6) Can you swim in the ocean in front of the hotel?

A: Swimming is permitted at Playa Cocles and there are no coral reefs on the beach in front of the hotel. However, we urge extreme caution in the ocean at all times. Please treat the sea with respect. There are also many other beautiful beaches nearby which offer excellent swimming and snorkelling .Learn more about our Life guard beach program

7) Do you have a bar/restaurant at your hotel?

A: Yes we do! We serve fabulous food all day in our rancho style restaurant and bar “SOLELUNA” Enjoy our exquisite meals prepared by our gourmet Italian chef Pino. We also serve refreshments, cocktails, and tropical fruit drinks. We have a snack bar and lounge with DIRECTV, DVD, magazines and books for your enjoyment.

8) How far are you from town?

A: We are located just a mile away from the small Caribbean village of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca; taxi will charge you $4. We are 4 hours from the capital, San Jose. In Puerto Viejo there are shops, restaurants, bars and dance clubs, as well as excellent beaches and exciting night life.

9) Can you arrange tours/transportation/guides?

A: Yes! We are glad to arrange a variety of tours, adventures and transportation. If you have any questions about tours which are not answered by our tours and adventures page, please don't hesitate to ask us.

10) What are your prices/ what is the price for a room?

A: please see our Rates for current information on prices. Note that these prices do not include the mandatory tax 16.39%. Please inquire about special rates for groups and students.

11) How do I get to Cariblue, how far is it from San Jose, can you help me with travel arrangements?

A: Please see our getting here page for travel information. If your question is not answered there contact us for more information.

12) What is your policy on reservations, cancellations, checking in and checking out?

A: Reservation Policy: All reservations must be made received by fax at (506) 2750-0057.
Please complete the whole reservation form.

Check-in and -out times: The official check-in time is 2:00 PM, but if you arrive earlier we will check you in if possible. Check-out time is 12:00 AM.

13) What is your policy on children?

A: Child Policy: Children less than 6 years old stay for free, limited to two children per room, from 6 years is $20 per night plus tax, including breakfast buffet.

14) What are your special discount rates for groups and students?

A: Students with valid current student ID and groups reserving more than 6 double rooms receive a 10% discount.
